A South Side of Chicago native and Xavier University doctoral graduate, LaVar is the only comedian to hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy. His unique perspective and high-energy delivery earned him the winning title at the “Stand Up It’s Miller Time” national comedy competition, judged by Kevin Hart. LaVar has since toured with the Shaquille O’Neal All Star Comedy Jam, appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and was featured in the hit film Uncle Drew. He currently resides in Atlanta, bringing his “off-the-dome” wit to stages across the country.
